Ok, so recently my birthday passed, and to celebrate I wanted to organise a party to celebrate with my friends. Obviously, I went to my mom with this and asked: can you help me organise one? And guess what she said? She said I had to plan it by myself…
So, using my free time to do some research on where I wanted to hold my birthday party and somehow ended up working out what the top 3 most visited amusement parks in Singapore! And guess what? All of them are at Sentosa!
Alright, in third place is the Luge, which is an absolute banger! Hosted on the hilltops of Sentosa, the attraction includes a Skyline - which people pay for just to avoid walking up to the top of the slope - and 4 amazing tracks ordered from Beginner to Advanced and Extremely challenging. These tracks are all raced with a very simple car, a contraption made out of springs, a 3D moulded and printed plastic shell and some brakes. This is the Luge cart, a cart unlike any other. The rules are simple for this attraction. To race on a concrete track at the highest speed possible without crashing into the barriers or going off into the trees (just kidding). This attraction is brilliant and (pretty) cheap using Singapore standards. It is great for families and people of all ages, and has had more than 2 billion visitors worldwide. And as the slogan of this attraction says, ‘once is never enough’.
Second is MEGA Adventure, a small amusement park that hosts all types of activities that are both physically challenging and family friendly (maybe not the MEGA Jump, but everything else). This amusement park includes 4 different attractions: The MEGA Climb- which is essentially a obstacle course in the trees, and tons of tiny ziplines, The MEGA Bounce- which is basically a contraption that makes you jump extra high and lets you do 360 flips in the air, The MEGA Jump- a 15 metre jump from a building that is both adrenaline boosting and terrifying, and the MEGAZip, the longest zipline in Asia, essentially a little bit more than 200m. Nearly all of these attractions I have tried, and I can tell you one thing: The money is with all the while.
First place is…..(drum roll please)....... the one you know…….the one you love….. Universal Studios Singapore! I’m pretty sure you know what Universal Studios is (If you don’t you are an inhumane, uncultured swine (Just joking)). This place is a haven full of adrenaline boosting rides and family fun, with themes and topics ranging from all over the modern realm of entertainment, like Transformers, Egyptian Gods, Jurassic Park, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I’m sure there are better amusement parks than this in the world, but this landmark has always made a reputation in the Red Dot of Asia.
I hope this attraction guide helps, and I hope you have a lovely day. These attractions all made my experience in Singapore much more enjoyable and happy, and I hope they will for you too.
